Overview
ZoomInfo is a publicly traded go-to-market platform, listed on Nasdaq under the ticker GTM, that helps businesses find, acquire and grow their customers. Founded in 2007 as DiscoverOrg and headquartered in Vancouver, Washington, the company acquired ZoomInfo in 2019, adopted its name, and went public in 2020. It operates in the B2B sales intelligence category, where vendors compile business contact and company records so that sales and marketing teams can identify and reach likely buyers.
The platform is built on verified data covering more than 500 million contacts and 100 million companies, assembled from public web sources, regulatory filings, job postings and a contributory network, with AI deduplication and more than 300 human researchers checking records. Its specialties span sales, conversation and marketing intelligence, sales engagement, intent data, account-based marketing, database hygiene and data orchestration. Products include GTM Workspace for sellers, GTM Studio for marketers and RevOps teams, Agent Teams for coordinated AI agents, and GTM.AI, which offers developers access through an API, CLI and MCP server. Together these products put a single data layer underneath tools for different roles, which fits the stated aim of helping businesses consolidate technology stacks and align sales and marketing teams.
ZoomInfo serves more than 35,000 companies worldwide, with customers across North America, EMEA, APAC and LATAM, including more than half of the Fortune 500. Pricing starts free and is based on consumption credits rather than fixed seats, and the company integrates natively with Salesforce, HubSpot and Microsoft Dynamics 365. Because the company processes data on professionals in their business capacity, privacy rules matter to its buyers, and it reports GDPR and CCPA compliance alongside ISO 27001, ISO 27701 and SOC 2 Type II certifications.
