Overview
(NYSE: HUBS · $223.37 ▼ 2.2%) HubSpot is a software company that describes itself as an agentic customer platform, providing software and support to help businesses grow better. Its platform covers marketing, sales, service and website management, and each product connects to the same underlying Smart CRM database. A customer relationship management system of this kind acts as the shared record of contacts, deals and support interactions, which is why vendors in the category try to keep separate teams working from one dataset instead of disconnected tools.
The product lineup includes Marketing Hub, Sales Hub, Service Hub, Content Hub, Data Hub and Revenue Hub, along with Agent Hub for deploying AI agents such as a Customer Agent, a Prospecting Agent and a Data Agent. Tools start free and scale with customers' needs, and a Small Business Bundle packages the Starter edition of each product, while more than 2,000 integrations link the platform to other software. This free-to-paid model lets smaller firms adopt individual tools first and add products as their sales and service operations grow more complex.
HubSpot was founded in 2006 by two MIT graduate students to help companies grow through inbound marketing, an approach built on offering helpful information rather than interrupting buyers with ads. The company has since expanded beyond marketing and reports more than 306,000 customers and over 9,000 employees. It is headquartered in Massachusetts, with offices in cities including Amsterdam, Berlin, Bogota, Dublin, Ghent, London, Madrid, Paris, San Francisco, Singapore, Sydney, Tokyo and Toronto.
Employees can work fully remotely, from an office or a mix of the two, and the company describes a workplace that values flexibility, autonomy and transparency, with its commitment to inclusion and diversity set out in the HubSpot Culture Code. That flexible policy suits a workforce spread across several continents and time zones.
