Overview
(NASDAQ: INTU · $305.99 ▲ 1.1%) Intuit is a global financial technology platform that helps consumers, small businesses and accountants with taxes, accounting, credit and marketing. The company serves tens of millions of customers worldwide through TurboTax, QuickBooks, Credit Karma, Mailchimp and Intuit Enterprise Suite, and organizes its work around the belief that everyone should have the opportunity to prosper. Bringing these brands under one company lets a single provider cover much of a household's or small firm's financial administration, from filing returns to keeping books.
For small businesses, Intuit offers QuickBooks accounting software along with payroll, online payments, invoicing, time tracking, bookkeeper services, term loans, lines of credit and a business credit card, while Mailchimp supports marketing campaigns. Consumers use TurboTax, including TurboTax Live, for tax preparation with expert help available year-round, and Credit Karma to manage spending, find offers and build credit scores. Accounting firms are served by Intuit Accountant Suite, the professional tax products Lacerte, ProConnect and ProSeries, and the ProAdvisor Program. This mix means the company sells both to end users and to the professionals who advise them, a common pattern in tax and accounting software.
Across its products, Intuit uses AI agents under the Intuit Intelligence name to analyze data, deliver real-time insights and automate work with user approval, and pairs them with human experts who can review customers' work. Intuit has 21 offices in seven countries and had 18,200 employees worldwide at the end of fiscal year 2025, a year in which revenue totaled $18.83 billion. It runs localized sites for the United States, Canada and India. Money movement services are provided by Intuit Payments Inc., licensed as a money transmitter by the New York State Department of Financial Services, since handling customer funds brings software companies under money transmission regulation.
