Overview
Zayo was founded in Boulder, Colorado, in 2007 by veterans of companies that built the early Internet backbone, and it grew largely through acquisitions of regional and international fiber networks. For more than 18 years, Zayo Group of companies has helped the world’s most ambitious organizations build the infrastructure behind what’s next. With one of the largest independent fiber networks, spanning 32 million fiber miles and 224,000 route miles across North America, Zayo powers the connectivity behind cloud, AI, media, financial markets, healthcare innovation, and global communications. As the digital economy accelerates, organizations need more than bandwidth. They need infrastructure that is secure, resilient, and built to support the demands of a data-driven world. Zayo combines deep fiber infrastructure with the expertise to design, deploy, and scale networks end-to-end helping organizations build the right architecture for whatever comes next. Behind that infrastructure is a team of engineers, operators, and problem-solvers who take pride in delivering the performance, reliability, and partnership our customers depend on every day. From blueprint to deployment, we help organizations move faster with confidence.
The group includes Zayo North America, Zayo Europe and Zayo Global Reach, with networks in North America and parts of Western Europe, including the U.K. and France.
