Overview
Digital transformation starts with purpose-built networks! FiberLight has been designing, building, and deploying one-of-a-kind fiber networks to ignite digital revolution for over 20 years. Today FiberLight owns over 19,000 route miles of robust fiber networks in over 44 key growth areas in Florida, Georgia, Maryland, Texas, Virginia, and Washington, D.C. All of our carrier-grade products – including Ethernet, FiberLight Cloud Connect, Dedicated Internet Access, Dark Fiber, and Wavelengths – are engineered to ensure business continuity. We credit our success to having the right people at the right places making the right investments.
FiberLight serves enterprise, wholesale, wireless internet service provider, state and local government and education (SLED), and AI data center customers. Its lit services also include data center connectivity and wireless backhaul, which provides tower-to-network connections for wireless operators supporting 5G growth. The company reports about 300,000 pre-qualified buildings, 280 serviceable data centers and more than 1,900 towers on its network.
FiberLight was formed in 2005 when Thermo Telecom Partners purchased, restructured and rebranded Xspedius Fiber Group, building on predecessors that had built networks for carriers, ISPs and utility operators since 1993. Its network spans dense metropolitan areas and under-served rural regions, including routes in Texas that connect to the Mexico border and provide cross-border connectivity. The company is headquartered in Allen, Texas, in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
