Lumos serves residential customers, businesses ranging from small startups to enterprises, and multi-family properties such as apartments, condominiums and senior living communities. Residential customers can add services such as cybersecurity and Total Home Wi-Fi. Through its wholesale business, the company provides the fiber backbone for T-Mobile Fiber across the Southeast and Midwest. Lumos has set a goal of connecting 1,000,000 homes and has expanded through public-private partnerships, including work with the US Department of Agriculture's Rural Utilities Service in Virginia's Alleghany Highlands and a partnership in Orange County, North Carolina.

Lumos believes the possibilities of tomorrow cannot be built on the infrastructure of yesterday, so we’re building an Internet equipped for the most hopeful of all things – the future. Because whatever the future holds, we make it faster.
