Cornerstone Community Financial Credit Union

Cornerstone Community Financial Credit Union traces its origins to 1951, when employees of the Chrysler Corporation's parts division founded Mo-Par Federal Credit Union. The organization became Motor Parts Federal Credit Union in 1961, moved its headquarters to Auburn Hills, Michigan, in 1994, and adopted its current name in 2004 as its membership grew beyond auto workers. It operates nine branches across Michigan and Ohio.

Today Cornerstone Community Financial is a progressive full-service financial institution still owned and operated by its members. To help members reach their personal financial goals, the credit union offers financial products and services ranging from share certificates to Visa® credit cards to online banking. While we are proud to deliver today's sophisticated technology, we've kept our pledge never to forget the exceptional personal service our members deserve at all times.

Its lending includes auto, home equity and mortgage loans, and its deposit products include Rewards Checking accounts. Digital services include a mobile app with Zelle transfers, debit card controls, a messaging feature and personalized offers, along with the GenGrow Family Wallet app, which includes a debit card with parental controls. Member deposits are federally insured by the NCUA through the National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund. The credit union supports its local communities through toy donations to children's hospitals, scholarships and financial education.
