Welcome to Zeal Credit Union. We’re a full-service, non-profit, financial institution. Founded in 1954, we now have 17 full service locations throughout Metro Detroit and the Upper Peninsula. Our assets exceed $1 billion and we have more than 67,000 members who are all shareholders of the Credit Union. We’re also considered the "company credit union” by numerous local employers.

We have been rated as a five star institution by Bauer Financial which is the highest rating they offer. We have been awarded a SUPERIOR financial rating by IDC Financial Publishing, Inc. IDC Financial is a reputable firm that rates all of the banks and Credit Unions in the United States. Your deposits are insured to $250,000 by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA), a federal governmental agency.

Our rates beat the national averages and we actually have money to lend. Zeal Credit Union offers checking and savings accounts along with a range of consumer lending products. Its loan lineup covers vehicle loans for autos, boats and recreational vehicles, home equity lines of credit, fixed-rate home equity loans, overdraft lines of credit, and secured and signature loans. New and used auto loans are available with terms of up to 120 months on select model years, subject to credit approval. Mortgages are provided through a partnership with Mortgage Center.

Through Online Banking or Mobile Banking you can request account information, create a loan, transfer funds, learn which of your checks have cleared, when your last deposit was posted, and more. The company also runs 24/7 card services lines for both credit and debit cardholders, and it publishes guidance to help members recognize impersonation scams.
