Sixth Street is a global investment firm with over $130 billion in assets under management and committed capital.* The firm uses its long-term flexible capital, data-enabled capabilities and One Team culture to develop themes and offer solutions to companies across all stages of growth. Founded in 2009, Sixth Street has more than 750 team members including approximately 300 investment professionals operating globally.
The firm's activities include building businesses, investing for growth, acquiring assets, providing direct financing, identifying value in public markets, purchasing royalty streams and developing new structures to meet the strategic objectives of management teams. Sixth Street invests on behalf of institutional investors and their beneficiaries and has invested in more than 25 countries. Its portfolio spans technology, healthcare, real estate, energy infrastructure, insurance and sports, with investments in companies such as Airbnb, Spotify, Caris Life Sciences, Kensington and Legends. The firm has also partnered with sports organizations including FC Barcelona, Real Madrid and the San Antonio Spurs, and co-founded the women's soccer club Bay FC.
