BMW Group

The BMW Group is a manufacturer of premium automobiles and motorcycles sold under the BMW, MINI, Rolls-Royce and BMW Motorrad brands, and it also provides financial services. Alongside these brands, its business fields include Alphabet, BMW Financial Services and Designworks. Pairing vehicle manufacturing with an in-house financing arm is common among large carmakers, which use loans and leases to support vehicle sales. The company also has BMW Welt and the BMW Museum, two buildings devoted to experiencing the BMW brand, and BMW Group Classic, which handles enquiries about classic and vintage vehicles.

The BMW Group's production network comprises over 30 sites worldwide, and its vehicles are sold through a global sales network in more than 140 countries. In 2025 the company sold 2.46 million passenger vehicles and more than 202,500 motorcycles, and recorded revenues of €133.5 billion and a profit before tax of €10.2 billion. As of 31 December 2025, its workforce numbered 154,540 employees from over 110 nations.
