Overview
Axiom Space is a human space exploration company, building era-defining space infrastructure and delivering technology-driven solutions that will empower civilization to transcend Earth. Beginning with Axiom Station, successor to the International Space Station, the company is pioneering a next-generation orbital settlement that will foster groundbreaking innovation and research in microgravity and drive the global space economy of tomorrow. Today, guided by the vision of leading humanity's expansion off planet, Axiom Space is the principal provider of commercial human spaceflight services and developer of advanced spacesuits for the Moon and beyond.
The company operates end-to-end missions to the ISS for private and national astronauts, and its spacesuit, the AxEMU, is being built for low-Earth orbit as well as the Moon. Through the Axiom Space Access Program, it uses strategic partnerships to perform commercial missions to the ISS and aims to expand global access to work in orbit. Its solutions also cover microgravity research, in-space manufacturing, orbital data centers and brand partnerships. Experiments carried out on its missions have included the Fluidic Telescope Experiment, which used microgravity to form a lens from liquid polymers.
