How to Create a Team and Invite Members
How to create a Team, invite teammates onto your account, and what to do if you actually need access to a colleague's account instead.
A Team lets multiple people share access to a single paid subscription. Teammates you invite join your account — they don't get separate accounts of their own, and they don't need their own subscription. All usage and billing stays under the subscription owner.
Who can create a Team
Team creation is available to:
- Enterprise plan customers
- Customers on a paid annual plan If you're on a monthly plan, your account needs to meet a minimum spend threshold to unlock Team features. If you don't see the option and think you should be eligible, reach out to [email protected] and we'll take a look.
How to create a Team and invite members
- Log in to the account that holds your subscription and go to your dashboard.
- Open the Team section.
- If you don't have a Team yet, you'll see a Create a team card — give it a name to set it up.
- Under Members, enter your teammate's email address and click Invite. Your teammate will get an email invite to join. That invite link expires after 24 hours, so if it lapses, just send a new one from the Members card.
Just need access to a colleague's account?
If someone else already owns the subscription — for example, whoever originally signed up for your company, creating your own Team won't get you onto their account. Ask them to invite you as a member of their existing Team instead. You don't need to (and shouldn't) create a separate Team of your own just to get access to their billing, usage, or data.
Changing who owns the Team
If the person who created the Team has left your company and someone else needs to take over billing and ownership, that's not a self-service action today — contact support and we'll take care of the transfer.
