Wolt is a Helsinki-based technology company with a mission to bring joy, simplicity and earnings to the neighborhoods of the world. Wolt develops a local commerce platform that connects people looking to order food, groceries, and other goods with people interested in selling and delivering them. Wolt was founded in 2014 and joined forces with DoorDash (NASDAQ: DASH) in 2022. Together, we operate in more than 30 countries today.
The company started out delivering restaurant food and has since expanded into groceries, electronics, toys and pharmaceuticals, and it operates in more than 1,000 cities. For consumers, it offers the Wolt app, the Wolt Market grocery service and Wolt+, a monthly pass that includes zero delivery fees and deals. For businesses, Wolt provides a merchant app, Wolt for Work office ordering, Wolt Ads retail media, Wolt Drive last-mile delivery, Wolt Self-Delivery and Wolt Capital merchant financing.
Courier partners use a dedicated Courier App to onboard, track earnings and complete deliveries, and the company runs its own support tool, Converse. Wolt employs more than 15,000 people of over 100 nationalities.
