Scania CV AB (publ) is based in Södertälje, Sweden, and the company has a history of more than 130 years.
Scania's truck range includes the G-series for regional and long-haulage operations, the R-series for premium long haulage, the P-series for distribution and the L-series for utility operations. The company also offers coaches such as the Scania Touring and the Scania Irizar i6S Efficient PHEV plug-in hybrid, as well as industrial electric machines such as the EM 505A. Scania provides a range of safety solutions designed to protect drivers, passengers and other road users. The company has set decarbonization targets to reduce emissions and work toward limiting global warming.
Employing more than 50,000 people in about 100 countries, Scania’s research and development is concentrated in Sweden, while production takes place in Europe and South America.
