The RATIONAL Group is the world market and technology leader in the field of hot food preparation for professional kitchens. The company was established in 1973 and now employs more than 2,700 people, of whom over 1,500 are based in Germany. RATIONAL has been listed in the Prime Standard of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange since its IPO in 2000, and is currently included in the MDAX.
The primary objective of the company is to always offer its customers maximum benefits. The company's product range includes the iCombi Pro combi oven and the iVario Pro multifunctional cooking unit, which is designed to replace tilting skillets, kettles, pressure cookers, stoves and deep fryers. The range also includes the iHexagon, which coordinates hot air, steam and microwave technology. The iCombi Pro and iVario Pro are made in Germany and France. RATIONAL also offers ConnectedCooking, a networking platform for updating unit software, distributing cooking programs across locations and documenting HACCP data, along with accessories such as mobile racks, baking trays, the VarioSmoker and sous-vide kits.
More than 1.4 million of its units are on the market, and customers are supported by more than 1,200 certified RATIONAL Service Partners worldwide.
