Overview

At Octave, we envision a future where premium mental health care isn’t a luxury. That’s why we’re creating a new standard for care that’s sustainable for providers and accessible for patients. Octave is a mental health practice offering therapy both virtually, through a HIPAA-compliant video platform, and in person with some providers.

We partner with clients to develop customized and evidence-based care plans — not "one-size-fits-all" solutions — that are covered by their insurance. This approach helps people experience profound change that is just as measurable as it is meaningful. The company organizes its therapists into specialized teams covering areas such as DBT, integrated health, Latine clients, perinatal mental health, queer resiliency, trauma and women's emotional health, and it offers therapy in more than 40 languages. Provider candidates go through a clinical case study review, a background check and approval by a credentialing committee, and the company tracks client symptoms over time to measure progress. A Care Navigation Team helps clients find a therapist, and clients pay per appointment instead of through a subscription, with HSA and FSA cards accepted.
