Overview
Wholly owned by our employees, Lewis is the oldest locally owned builder in the Northwest. Founded in 1886, we're known for some of the most iconic and innovative projects across the commercial, corporate, data center, education, healthcare, life sciences, and multifamily markets.
Beyond the markets above, the company also builds civic and hospitality projects, and it groups its data center work with advanced technology. Its projects include 222 Fifth, a research and development building near Seattle Center, and work on the Providence St. Vincent emergency department in Portland, Oregon, which increased its capacity and upgraded its infrastructure. In Hillsboro, Oregon, it built the HI2 Data Center, a 420,000-square-foot, 66-megawatt facility that is part of a 138-megawatt campus expansion.
The company's community work centers on supporting education, creating career pathways and driving equity in construction. Its employee-owners also have a voice in shaping the company's future.
