Customers can make payments, start, stop or move service, report outages and emergencies, and seek help paying their bills through the company's online services. Its mobile app supports fingerprint or facial recognition login, outage reporting, service requests, billing and payment preferences, and access to home energy usage information. The company also offers energy-saving tips, rebates on energy-efficient appliances, usage alerts and storm preparation guidance.
Dominion Energy states that it aims to keep its rates below national and regional averages and lists safety, ethical behavior, continuous improvement, innovation and teamwork among its values. Natural gas customers in North Carolina, Ohio and Utah are directed to Enbridge Gas.
