Overview

There’s a global community of music makers creating and performing music with Ableton creative tools: Live, Push, Link, Move and Note. They are sharing and exploring ideas through Loop, Learning Music, and Learning Synths. Ableton makes software, hardware and learning platforms for music creation and performance, used by people ranging from live performers and educators to first-time music makers. The company also publishes tutorial videos, artist features and downloads, including the ongoing One Thing video series.

Ableton was set up in Berlin in 1999 by the same musicians who lead the company today. Now it's made up of around 500 employees across the world, working together on products that inspire people to get started and go further as music makers. Its staff includes artists, engineers, designers, educators and researchers from over 30 countries.

At Ableton, we come from a wide range of cultural and professional backgrounds. We’re committed to becoming a truly inclusive workplace, providing equal opportunity in both our recruitment process and in the subsequent growth of an employee. What connects us is the shared belief that each of us has the skills and knowledge to contribute to the future of music culture. Employees have access to internal and external training, long-term mentoring and coaching, and regular development, design and music salons. The company assists with relocation and paperwork where applicable and provides free language classes to staff joining in Berlin.
