The company got its start in 2008 building some of the earliest large-scale solar plants in the U.S. and later expanded into engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, operations and maintenance. It has built more than 500 power plants with over 22 GW of installed capacity, and it has more than 150 plants under long-term operations and maintenance.

Its services include full-scope solar EPC, co-located or standalone battery storage, substations up to 500 kV, transmission and distribution infrastructure, repowering and field services, and end-to-end SCADA and network systems for plant operations. SOLV Energy employs more than 2,600 people across the U.S., including nearly 1,950 skilled craftworkers, and operates a family of specialized companies that adds to its self-perform capabilities.
