Skanska organizes its operations in four business streams: Construction, Residential Development, Commercial Property Development and Investment Properties. The Construction stream delivers buildings and civil construction projects, and the Residential Development stream creates homes and communities. The Commercial Property Development stream initiates, develops, leases and divests commercial and residential rental properties, while the Investment Properties stream invests in office spaces. The company runs local operations in the Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Hungary, Norway, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Sweden, the United Kingdom and the United States. Skanska reports a 65 percent reduction in CO2 emissions from its own operations (scope 1 and 2) compared to 2015.
