Founded in 1984 by two surf-loving brothers, we’ve spent decades creating gear that’s built for freedom, fun, and the spirit of the beach—wherever you are. Our products combine comfort, durability, and laid-back design with a focus on unexpected details and environmentally and socially responsible materials. The company's products are 100% PVC free, and its materials include cotton, jute, real cork and wooden elements. Its EVA and rubber compounds contain recycled content, its midsoles use a bio-based EVA sourced from sugar cane in Brazil, and all of its leathers and suedes come from gold or silver rated tanneries.

Reef sells flip flops, slides, sandals and shoes for men and women, clogs and slippers for women, and flip flops for kids, along with shirts, T-shirts, hoodies and accessories. Its product lines include the Cushion, Ojai, Fanning, Santa Ana, One Slide and Vista collections. The company also supports coral reef conservation through awareness, scientific work and knowledge sharing, working with an ambassador who is a chemist and professional surfer, and it has mapped two reefs.
