Overview
Since 1839, Patek Philippe has stood as a symbol of watchmaking excellence and timeless craftsmanship. As Geneva’s last family-owned independent watch manufacturer, we combine rare traditional watchmaking techniques with latest technologies to create timepieces of unmatched quality, elegance, and mechanical precision.
The Stern family has owned the company since 1932, giving it full creative freedom over the design, development and production of its watches. Its production facility in Geneva covers more than 133,650 square meters and uses CNC machinery, while every watch part it produces is finished by hand for appearance, performance and durability. The company works with Silinvar, a silicon derivative it pioneered, and maintains rare handcrafts such as enameling, guillochage and miniature painting on enamel.
Patek Philippe keeps more than 150 references in regular production, made in limited quantities to meet the standards of the Patek Philippe Seal. It commits to servicing, repairing or restoring any timepiece it has made since 1839, sells through an international network of authorized points of sale, and operates a museum that houses its watch collection.
