Inwood Animal Clinic

Inwood Animal Clinic is a veterinary practice in Upper Manhattan that has served New York City since 2008. The clinic is located on Broadway between Academy Street and 204th Street and is open seven days a week. Like many neighborhood general practices, it acts as a first point of contact for pet owners, handling routine prevention as well as treatment when problems arise. Its care covers pets at every life stage, from new puppies to senior cats.

Alongside general veterinary health care, the clinic offers veterinary surgery, pet dentistry, vaccines and grooming. It also helps owners prepare for international pet travel with health certificates, vaccines and documentation, a service that matters because each country sets its own import rules for animals. Clients can complete forms online before visits, order prescriptions and health products through an online pharmacy, and track appointments and reminders through a PetDesk portal. Together these tools let much of the administrative side of pet care happen outside the exam room.

The company describes its approach as treating owners and their pets as if they were its own, with kindness, integrity and dignity, and states a mission of welcoming and respecting all those it serves. It says it combines holistic healing practices with modern western medicine and pays attention to the well-being of pet owners as well as patients. Client testimonials, some written in Spanish, consistently highlight friendly and helpful staff, and individual reviewers mention follow-up calls after procedures and reasonable prices.
