Infinite Roots® We are Infinite Roots®—a biotech company using fermentation and fungi to create the next generation of sustainable alternative proteins. The company was formerly known as Mushlabs.

The company's process starts by selecting a mushroom from more than 2,300 edible species based on how it grows, feels and tastes, then fermenting its mycelium in a liquid environment that mirrors the fertility of natural soil. After a few days, the mycelium is infused with locally sourced seasonings and adapted to regional tastes. Cultivation takes place in fermentation tanks using natural side streams such as brewers' spent grain, a by-product of the beer industry. The resulting products contain protein, fiber, vitamins and minerals and are intended for uses ranging from everyday meals to fine dining.

We believe in a food system that provides accessible, tasty, and nutritious food for everyone while preserving our planet.
