The company recruits for airport and corporate roles, flight attendants, pilots, reservations staff, and technical operations and maintenance personnel. It also recruits in information technology, finance and accounting, and sales and marketing.
For students and recent graduates, American Airlines offers an internship program, an MBA Leadership program, an IT ADEPT program and co-op positions. Employees receive health and well-being benefits as well as travel perks, and the company has employee business resource groups.
