Overview

Oregon Public Broadcasting (OPB) is an independent, nonprofit media organization powered by the generous support of members. For more than 100 years, OPB has connected people across Oregon and the Pacific Northwest through the power of a shared story. Stories that define who we are, what we do, where we live and where we’re going. Guided by the pursuit of truth, a spirit of curiosity, with equity and public service at the center of our work, our in-depth reporting and storytelling is freely accessible to all. The organization's coverage spans politics, science and the environment, arts and culture, and education, with reporters, producers and editors working across the region from southern Washington to southern Oregon. Its output includes daily news, investigative reporting, documentaries, podcasts and original series.

Audiences can watch OPB TV or stream programs through OPB Passport on the PBS app, and can listen to OPB Radio and KMHD Jazz Radio. The company also offers the OPB News app, a daily newsletter called "First Look" and other newsletters, Spanish-language content through OPB en Español, and events hosted by OPB and KMHD.
