Contour Software started in Karachi in 2010 with a little over a dozen people and has grown to more than 2,100 employees. Initially an offshore development center, Contour Software now operates as a global center covering all functional areas. The company acquires vertical market software companies in the region, in line with its parent company's mandate. The company also has a location in Toronto.

Its service areas include software development, software quality and delivery, and IT systems administration. The company describes its approach as adapting its teams to the work processes, tools, technologies and methodologies of each business unit it serves. Its recognitions include P@SHA ICT Awards for gender diversity and export growth.
