CD Projekt Red

We are CD PROJEKT RED, creators of The Witcher game series and Cyberpunk 2077. Home to over 1,000 game-making professionals from all over the world, we speak many languages but share one love — video games. CD PROJEKT RED is a video game development studio established in 2002 that focuses on storytelling, technical innovation and quality. The company's first game, The Witcher, was built on the Neverwinter Nights engine.

We’re headquartered in Warsaw, Poland — where The Witcher 4 and an original IP codenamed Hadar are in development — and have a growing hub in Boston too, where work is underway on Cyberpunk 2 and Project Sirius, a multiplayer game set in The Witcher universe. The studio also has teams in Kraków, Wrocław and Vancouver.

We have a player-first approach and stay true to our values, with the mission of creating revolutionary role-playing games, with memorable stories, that inspire players. The company describes itself as independent, with creative control over the games it makes, and says it avoids an annualized development cycle. Its portfolio has spanned an open-world third-person RPG, a card game and a first-person RPG. Its stated values include being ambitious, persevering toward goals, honesty, kindness and respect, and keeping gamers in mind.
